Leslie Valiant, Honorary Fellow of King’s College and expert in theoretical Computer Science will be giving the first of a series of annual public lectures at King’s planned to celebrate Alan Turing, the King’s College Fellow considered by many to be the father of Computer Science.

Krishna Kumar

King's alumnus and College Research Associate, Dr. Krishna Kumar, has won the Software Sustainability Institute (SSI) Fellowship for 2017. Krishna was selected as one of eighteen SSI Fellows and is the Institute’s first Fellow of Engineering.

"The Fabric of Space: water, modernity, and the urban imagination" (MIT Press, 2014) by Matthew Gandy has won the 2016 award for "the most innovative book in planning history" from the International Planning Historical Society (IPHS). The prize is awarded every two years.
