Research Committee

The Research Committee is chaired by the Provost, Prof. Ross Harrison. It includes the Vice Provost (Dr Basim Musallam), the Senior Tutor (Prof Robin Osborne), the Bursar (Dr Keith Carne) and the Junior Research Fellowship  Manager (Dr Bill Burgwinkle) as ex officio members. The remaining members are elected each year at Annual Congregation. For the year 2009, the elected members are Prof Mike Bate, Dr Istvan Hont, Prof John Young, Dr Rory O'Bryen, Dr Stefan Uhlig, Prof Megan Vaughan and Prof Caroline Humphrey.

The Research Committee sets the research policy for the College and is responsible for the running of the Junior Research Fellowship competitions. The Research Committee is always happy to receive suggestions for workshops, conferences and linked seminars from Fellows of the College, as well as proposals for Research Fellowship competitions.
