King's BME Open Day

Welcome!

On the 24th of June 2019, King’s College will be hosting its second BME Open Day.

This one-day event will be open to prospective students aged 16+ from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds. The aim of the event is to give BME students an opportunity to experience life at Cambridge and ask questions about anything from admissions to student life here at King’s. The event will feature a talk on admissions, a Meet the Students event in which current students and academics will be answering subject-specific questions, tours of King’s College (including the Chapel) and many more engaging activities. Lunch will be provided and support is available for travel on a needs-assessed basis. Please contact the Outreach and Schools' liaison office for more information once booking is open.

A link to the booking form will appear here.

We are expecting the programme to run from approx. 10am to 4pm.

We are looking for high performing students who show the potential to do well at A Level. Particularly, we would like to encourage capable students who have been hesitant about applying to Cambridge to register. We will have opportunities to hear from current students about their experiences.

For any further information please don’t hesitate to contact our outreach officers at or the King’s BME officer at

We hope to see you soon!
