The Choir is travelling around Europe this summer and singing in some of the season's most prestigious festivals.
The first stop is Croatia, where the Choir will perform two concerts at the Dubrovnik Summer Music Festival (19 and 20 August). It will sing music by Tallis, Byrd and Walton in the first concert, and Mozart's Requiem and excerpts from Handel's Messiah in the second concert.
In the latter concert, Stephen Cleobury and the Choir will be joined by the Croatian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra and four Croatian soloists.
Then the Choir travels to France, to the Festival de Musique Sacrée in Saint-Malo (22 August), where it will sing works by Palestrina, SS Wesley and Tallis. After Saint-Malo it will travel to the Festival Callient in the Alsace region (25 August), where the programme will include Fauré's Requiem and works by Howells and Stanford.
The final leg of the tour takes the Choir to the Netherlands for the Gergiev Festival (14 September), then to Belgium for the Ghent Festival (15 September).
