Legacy Lunch

On behalf of the Provost, the Development Office is delighted to invite Legators and their guests back to College on Saturday 15th June 2019 for our annual Legacy Lunch. The event is open to all Members and Friends who have included King’s College in their Will and to executors to a King’s College legacy.

We have an exciting programme planned. Refreshments will be served in the Senior Combination Room during registration, and the Provost will give a brief update on the King’s Campaign and our plans for the future. Lunch will then be served in the Saltmarsh Rooms, after which College Research Associate Dr Alex Patto will talk about his research at the NanoPhotonics Centre to provide rapid water testing for use in developing countries.

You are then invited to attend a musical recital in the Provost’s Lodge, or to tour the College Gardens with the Head Gardener Steven Coghill, before you relax in the SCR with a hot drink. Alternatively, you can head down to the May Bumps to catch some of the races from the King’s College Boat Club’s marquee at Osier Holt in Fen Ditton. If you can stay until the early evening, doors will be open for Evensong at 5.15pm.

The dress code for the day is informal. Smart casual is appropriate.

Please do let us know whether or not you wish to attend by Tuesday, 4th June 2019. To register, please call the Development Office on +44(0)1223 331481, or return the response form. Responses can also be emailed to events@kings.cam.ac.uk.

A limited number of College guestrooms are available to Members and can be booked in advance. For availability and prices please contact the Porters’ Lodge directly by emailing guestrooms@kings.cam.ac.uk. A limited amount of parking is also available. Please indicate this request on your response form.

We look forward to seeing you then.
