On behalf of the King's Affair 2019 Committee, we are inviting you to the King's Affair to be held on the 19th of June 2019.

Following the tradition of previous years, we’ll be setting aside a limited number of KA tickets exclusively for King’s alumni. KA is a special night for the King’s community, and we’d love you to be a part of it.

At King’s, we are known for doing things differently. Celebrated as the antidote to the monotony of traditional balls, the King's Affair transforms the spectacular grounds of King's College into a dreamlike paradise for one night a year.

Here, tuxedos and floor-length gowns are exchanged for magnificent fancy dress costumes; blasé music is replaced by supremely talented, up-and-coming artists who are redefining traditional genres and creating a spectacular medley of new sounds; and adornments give way to intricate set design, fantastic artwork and dazzling lighting.

KA 2019, taking place on Wednesday 19th June, will feature six stages for live acts playing different kinds of music, several DJ booths and ‘chill-out’ areas with shisha pipes, plus a number of food stalls and bars. And let's not forget about the entertainment: dodgems, slides, and much more.

This year, we are reserving a small number of VIP King's Affair tickets for King's alumni and guests. The website will launch at midnight tonight (28th February), where after much anticipation the theme will be revealed. Tickets cost £107 each, and include queue-jump, and unlimited food and drink.

To apply for tickets, please RSVP by post with the form attached, to be posted to the Development Office, or call +44 (0)1223 331443. Please do this by 10 March 2019 at the latest - note that registration may be closed before this date if capacity is reached.

Tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis - we'll get back to you to let you know if you've been successful.

For further details please see the King's Affair website.
