King's College Art Rooms

This continues a series of exhibitions of drawings created by attendees at the King’s College Art Rooms’ Thursday evening life-drawing sessions.

The drawings made on these Thursday evening, or any work developed afterwards, represents a broad range of styles and approaches to the life model. Individual artists work in their own way.

Dennis Goldsmith, the convenor of the sessions writes:

“We can only meet the person in front of us in the ‘now’ and join them in their own process of flow and change. It is still the same person, just as it will always be the same river, but in every moment in time we can notice the changes within us, that create the changes around us.

Many past scholars have attended the Thursday evening drawing sessions. This continues a tradition of providing life drawing for past/present scholars and is an example of King’s College generous outreach opportunity for graduates worldwide.”

If you are a graduate, from any university or time, and are interested in drawing on a Thursday evening at King’s please contact Dennis on dennisgoldsmith8@gmail.com.
