Inspired Conferences

Behind the grand façade of King’s College in the historic city centre, we have a small collection of perfectly formed rooms. As we only have a small number of rooms it guarantees our focus will be on your event to ensure our passion for excellence is delivered at every opportunity.

Whether you are looking for an executive boardroom meeting, a traditional setting to host and impress clients, or a flexible space for a large lecture, our rooms offer the ideal solution within the main College grounds.

We were delighted with the discreet but personal attention from the event manager supported by his staff member who, between them, ensured that everything flowed smoothly

Saltmarsh Room Meetings

If you're looking for meeting rooms with breathtaking views of the Chapel, Front Courtyard and Webb's Courtyard, the three interconnecting Saltmarsh Rooms provide you with the ultimate setting. The Dining Room can accommodate up to 18 guests for a board meeting or 40 in a theatre style set up, leaving the Reception Room and Study free for your delegates to break away from the main room for their refreshments throughout the day.

We like to make sure your delegates are well fed, with snacks included at each coffee break and the option to upgrade to some tasty alternatives. Our flexible lunch options are both appetising and healthy, ranging from individual Bento boxes, a ‘DIY’ Ramen Bar to more traditional sharing boards so there will be no post-lunch slump.

It was lovely! My colleagues enjoyed every aspect of the whole event, including location, food and service

Beves Room Meetings

If you prefer a more contemporary space, the Beves room with air conditioning, a built in screen and black out curtains is ideal. The room offers views of the Provost Lodge, Library and Webb’s Courtyard, and boasts access to a shared terrace in the warmer summer months for delegates to enjoy some fresh air in a secluded part of the College.

With flexible set up options, the Beves room can accommodate up to 26 boardroom, 25 cabaret or 65 theatre style. As is offered in the Saltmarsh Rooms, the same range of catering options are available in the Beves Room.

It was a privilege to be able to hold this meeting at your venue, and we again appreciate all your help and support

Audit Room Meetings

Nestled in the heart of the College, the Audit room offers a traditional setting for your meeting with added modern touches. Situated in the Old Lodge it offers breath-taking views of the Provost’s private garden, with the large sash windows providing plenty of natural daylight.

With flexible set up options, the Audit room can accommodate up to 22 boardroom, 20 cabaret or 50 theatre style. It has a large built in screen providing easy to use AV access when needed.

Chetwynd Room & Keynes Lecture Theatre

Let your delegates pace corridors once trod by our numerous famous alumni such as John Maynard Keynes, the influential and celebrated economist, after whom the College lecture theatre is named. Larger meetings can be held in the Keynes Lecture Theatre which can accommodate up to 140 guests in a theatre style set up. A more modern room in the College, it is fully equipped with built in PA system, microphones, staging, data projector and screen meaning you can add as much or as little as you want to the room to deliver your conference.

Utilise the adjacent Chetwynd Room for your refreshments and enjoy views of the bustling King’s Parade to the east and secluded Chetwynd Court to the west. This space is ideal for delegate registration and networking.

Hosting your meeting in the Keynes Lecture Theatre also offers the opportunity for complimentary use of our magnificent Hall to serve your delegates with a fork buffet lunch, adding a traditional College dining experience to your day. As with all of our catering options, the feast is a healthy balance ensuring your delegates are energised for their afternoon sessions.

I have been overwhelmed by the fantastic service provided by Kings College. The team couldn't be more helpful or knowledgeable it has been a joy to work with them. The service on the day was outstanding, the event manager was always available and everything was delivered on time
